"Impromptu Notes” is a Jazz inspired homage to an art form that paved the way for Hip-Hop. Alongside Soul Music, Jazz has always been a strong foundation for the evolving sample based Hip-Hop sound, from heavy bass lines to melodic instrumental work, there is a definite relationship. This relationship is explored and defined with Impromptu Notes.
